Exploring Alternative Histories: What Ifs That Changed the World

ABOUT MY BLOG :

This blog explores the fascinating world of “What Ifs” in history — the moments when a single decision, event, or twist of fate could have changed everything. What if empires hadn’t fallen? What if key inventions had never been made?

What if one battle had ended differently?

Through thoughtful analysis and creative exploration, this space reimagines how history might have unfolded under different circumstances, inviting my readers to think critically about cause, consequence, and the delicate threads that shape our world. All these are works of alternate history and speculation with a different approach to imagination. It does not reflect actual historical events or endorse any ideology. My goal is to invite readers to reflect, reinterpret histories, and imagine their own “alternative histories” . If you, too, have wondered about those stories, you will enjoy…

ABOUT ME :

I’m Alp, a Grade 11 high school student living in Canada. I have always been interested in history, especially the moments that changed the direction of the world. Recently, I started exploring alternative history — imagining how things might have turned out if certain events had happened differently. I find it exciting to think about how a single decision, a different leader, or a small change in a battle could completely reshape our world today.

In this series, I want to share my thoughts and ideas about these “what if” scenarios. My goal is to help readers understand the time period, the people involved, and the possible paths history could have taken. By looking at these alternate outcomes, I hope to make history feel more alive and show how the past still influences our present. I’m not trying to rewrite history, but to explore it in a creative and meaningful way.

I hope readers enjoy taking this journey with me and find these ideas as interesting as I do.
